Día de los Muertos

On Saturday 1 November, we gather to celebrate Dia de los Muertos: Mexico’s day of remembrance and joy. A night to honour those who’ve passed with food, music, stories and colour.

Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) is a Mexican celebration of life and remembrance. A time to honour those who’ve passed by welcoming their memory back through food, flowers, music and shared stories. The altar (ofrenda) is at the heart of it all, filled with photos, candles and offerings that keep connections alive across generations. It’s similar to other global traditions that honour ancestors, and it reminds us that those we’ve lost still dance with us, just on a different frequency.

Program
* a Calaverita (traditional Day of the Dead poem) workshop by Luis Bracamontes
* Mexican-style dinner curated by Andrea Reyes (Alfredo's Taqueria) - only €15 for main & dessert if you purchase the ticket online.
* Ofrenda (altar). There’s a photo printer so you can print a photo of a loved one who’s passed, to give them a place on the altar.
* DJ AXOLOTL
* DJ Jeff Revolución
