Each edition, a guest shares their favourite vinyl records with the audience in a living room setting. Records that hold memories, shape them, or carry cultural meaning. Together with the audience, we listen, reflect and enter into conversation. Afterwards, the night continues on the dance floor.
The host is MF Andrade (Michel Andrade), one of OASE's curators. As a DJ and cultural connector, MF Andrade creates evenings where different scenes, generations and stories meet.

What to expect: African, Caribbean and Latin rhythms
Calamidades Lola is a record hunter, DJ/selector and radio host born and raised in Barranquilla, a city on the Caribbean coast of Columbia. Now based in Berlin, her music reflects both her musical roots and her migratory experience. Growing up surrounded by the massive and colourful picó sound systems of her neighborhood, Calamidades Lola absorbed African, Caribbean and Latin rhythms like cumbia, guaracha, and salsa that still define her sound today. You might know her as a resident at Berlin’s Refuge Worldwide radio station, hosting her own radio show, Ama de Caza, where she shares her most recent finds on wax and invites DJs, musicians, and researchers of African diaspora sounds to join.

Mama Demba (River Ramos) is a true archaeologist of Lusophone music. He feels most at home among the records, preferably controlling a sweaty and inclusive dance floor. He is an excellent groove cook, bringing together sounds from Cabo Verde, Angola, Guinea Bissau, São Tomé and Príncipe and the West Indies in a huge pot. The party is guaranteed!Considered one of the best kept secret DJs in Lisbon and the Portuguese-speaking world, Mama Demba has already set the dance floors alight at various venues and festivals across the country. He breathes music, a Cabo Verdean based in Lisbon, he owns one of the best record collections of African music, co-founder of Tabanka Records, member of the Badju D Terra Sound System Collective and the Mindel Reggae Family.
Erwin Zimmerman, better known as DJ Git Hyper, is a Rotterdam-based DJ and cultural entrepreneur. He rose to prominence as the DJ of the influential hip-hop collective DuvelDuvel, helping shape the group's raw and playful sound in the late 1990s and 2000s. Beyond his role in the crew, Zimmerman is the founder of Demonfuzz Records, a celebrated Rotterdam record store specializing in vinyl and underground music culture. His dual legacy as a performer and record shop owner reflects his deep roots in both hip-hop and the wider musical landscape of the city.
For this first edition, we welcome Katayoun: collector, radio host and DJ based in Amsterdam. Through a feminist lens, she reshapes archives into living stories that travel across geographies and generations. You§ might know her from Sonic Imaginaries on Kiosk Radio, or from dance floors, festivals and museum spaces where she invites audiences to listen deeper and move differently.
Her selections move between pre-1979 Iranian vinyl gems and sounds from the Iranian diaspora, including the Tehrangeles scene of the 80s to 00s. As an archivist, she doesn’t just preserve music, she reactivates it.
