Open call: WKADE

22/5/2026

The Men’s World Cup lands this summer, and we’re turning the tournament into a global living room where football and community collide. Whether your team is playing or you just love the energy, this is your chance to organize your own watch party!

Tell me more

We’re opening up our space for community-led watch parties throughout the men’s World Cup. We’re not deciding which matches deserve the big screen. You are. Which games do you want to watch with your friends, family and community? Let us know, and we’ll help create the setting to experience those moments together.

Matches played during the opening hours of our Strandtent will be screened by default. But, if you want to go big or watch a game outside our regular opening hours (yes, even those middle-of-the-night kick-offs), you can respond to this open call and organize a watch party together with us.

Expect a big screen, a bar to fuel the vibes, and a space where the Men’s World Cup feels like a party at home. Indoor or outdoor setups depend on the weather and kick-off time, so you can always count on the right setup for the moment.

How to apply

Got a crew, collective, or squad ready to throw a watch party? Share your idea with us by the 24th of May via info@oaserotterdam.nl.

It’s not just football

Communities with deep roots in Rotterdam are shining on the world stage, with Rotterdam-born players like Shurandy Sambo representing Curaçao and Dailon Livramento playing for Cabo Verde. This Men’s World Cup feels bigger than football alone. It’s family and shared emotion: screaming at the same screen, side by side.
The Men’s World Cup should be about unity, passion, and the beauty of the game. But when tickets cost a fortune, when one of the host countries locks up those with an immigration background, and when FIFA cares more about profits than fans, something is wrong. Therefore, at OASE, we’re focusing on celebrating the meeting point of football and culture, and invite the communities of Rotterdam to the stage.
