Droom & DD is a Rotterdam-based DJ and artist duo, consisting of Iris van Velzen (Droom) and Chris Tam Nelck (DD). They’re known for their high-energy sets filled with Italo-disco, synthwave, and acid, and frequently perform at Operator Radio.
Iris (Droom) is a graphic designer and visual artist based in Rotterdam, known for her dreamlike use of shapes, typography, rhythms and vibrant colour palettes. Her love for 80s sci-fi and graphic novels finds a sonic counterpart in her selections.
Chris Tam Nelck (DD) is a multidisciplinary artist working across painting, performance, and text. With a background in fine arts and a keen eye for visual composition. Chris has a long lived love for the performative side of the 80s: experimental gender expressions, new wave and heavy synths.
A Night With is OASE's weekly Friday night series, where we hand over the decks to a different DJ collective, artist or musical community. For one evening, they transform OASE's Strandtent into their own party, bringing their favourite sounds, crowd and energy along for the ride. From laid-back sunset sessions to dancefloor-driven takeovers, each edition offers a fresh glimpse into the people and communities shaping Rotterdam's music scene.

Voor één avond nemen ze de Strandtent over met een onvergetelijke Italo-night vol energie. Natuurlijk is de bar gewoon open om je gehydrateerd te houden en je dansmoves van brandstof te voorzien.

Droom & DD is een Rotterdams DJ- en kunstenaarsduo, bestaande uit Iris van Velzen (Droom) en Chris Tam Nelck (DD). Ze staan bekend om hun energieke sets vol Italo-disco, synthwave en acid, en zijn regelmatig te horen bij Operator Radio.
Iris (Droom) is grafisch ontwerper en beeldend kunstenaar uit Rotterdam. Haar werk kenmerkt zich door dromerige vormen, typografie, ritme en levendige kleuren. Haar liefde voor jaren 80 sci-fi en graphic novels hoor je ook terug in haar muzikale selecties.
Chris Tam Nelck (DD) is een multidisciplinair kunstenaar die werkt met schilderkunst, performance en tekst. Vanuit een achtergrond in de beeldende kunst en een sterk gevoel voor visuele compositie brengt Chris al jarenlang een liefde mee voor de theatrale kant van de jaren 80: experimentele genderexpressie, new wave en zware synths.
A Night With is de wekelijkse vrijdagavondserie van OASE, waarin elke editie een ander DJ-collectief, artiest of muzikale community de decks overneemt. Voor één avond maken zij van de Strandtent hun eigen feestje en nemen ze hun favoriete sounds, publiek en energie mee. Van relaxte sunsetsessies tot dansvloer-waardige takeovers: elke editie biedt een frisse blik op de mensen en communities die de Rotterdamse muziekscene kleur geven.
