Strandtent & Ruimte
The night kicks off at OASE’s Strandtent with Rotterdam collective AanTafel!, who deliver a high-energy DJ set to warm up the room. Performance artist Charlotte Puebla leads the Goofy Grooves movement workshop. A fun, accessible session where you can stretch, sway and shake off the day (no prior experience needed). Finally, take your seat for the timeless 90s classic Party Girl, blending the festival’s signature cinematic flair with OASE’s cozy atmosphere.

Mary is arrested during an illegal party that she has organised. Her godmother pays her bail, but insists that Mary settle the debt by working in the New York public library that she runs. Party Girl tells the (mis)adventures of Mary: 90's New York's most stylish and feral party girl, and her transformation from nightlife icon to librarian fluent in the Dewey Decimal classification System. "But what if the Dewey Decimal classification system could also be used to classify her wardrobe and LPs?" She wonders…
Celebrating its 30th anniversary last year, what makes Party Girl so iconic and so charming is it’s cast, fashion, music, and campy atmosphere. With breakout performances from Parker Posey, dance sequences that are beyond memorable, fashion featuring archival Jean-Paul Gaultier, Vivienne Westwood, and Todd Oldham, and cameos from Drag icon Lady Bunny.
Feel like a boogie before watching "Party Girl" on the big screen? Goofy Grooves is a joyful dance session led by Charlotte Puebla where we will play, improvise, and celebrate together. Expect a hilariously clumsy, cheesy, and liberating physical evening! We'll dance to music inspired by the film and let out our goofy selves.
Charlotte Puebla C. (they/them) is a Hispano-French performance artist and choreographer based in the Netherlands. With a background in ballet, modern dance, and physical theatre, their work explores human and intercultural connection through playful, surreal performances.
AanTafel! is an eclectic DJ & makers collectives from Rotterdam. Zena-Rae, LOTUS & Leon serve warm and energetic sounds. They decorate time and space with music and colour. Joy is the main priority.
