This evening is part of our Dia di Tula programme, organised together with Stichting Gedeeld Verleden Gezamenlijke Toekomst, commemorating the legacy of Tula and reflecting on resistance, heritage and freedom.
Programme on Monday 17 August
On this special day, we come together to honour the legacy of Curaçaoan resistance leader Tula, who led the island's largest revolt against slavery in 1795. His fight for freedom, justice and human dignity continues to inspire generations.
