This edition will be about queerness in nature. By diving into real-life cases from the animal and plant kingdoms, guest lecturer Noah Baars will explore with us how nature can contribute to the understanding and acceptance of ourselves and others.

About Noah Baars

Born in Rotterdam in 1990, Noah Baars is driven by a central, singular goal: Much like his biblical namesake, he aims to save humanity from mass-extinction. And he is planning on doing this in an inclusive way so that everybody can be who they are with pride.

Guided by these core principles, Baars founded the Narwhal Rainbow Alliance: a foundation dedicated to promoting diversity and protecting biodiversity. Based on the concept of Queer Nature he developed several project in line with his mission.
