Gesjoemel x AanTafel!

What to expect

Expect a whole bunch of custom-made sjoelbakken (Dutch shuffleboards) spread across OASE. Each board comes with its own twists, obstacles and unexpected challenges, putting a fresh spin on the traditional game. There may even be a few surprises along the way, with live projections adding to the atmosphere.

Bring your (grand)parents, your date or your neighbour for a sjoel-match, or play solo and challenge yourself. And when you need a break from the boards, hit the dancefloor on boogie, funk, disco and house by AanTafel!

‍
Never played sjoelen before? ‍

Sjoelen  (a.k.a. Dutch shuffleboard) is a traditional Dutch table game dating back to the 19th century. Players slide 30 wooden discs across a long board, aiming to land them in numbered compartments for the highest score. The classic game has its own rules and scoring system, but here, expect a few unexpected twists.
