Two cities. Two teams. One stage. During The Match, hosted by Kate Bjork, improvisers from SPARK Rotterdam and Impronation The Hague compete in a series of theatrical games where everything is created on the spot. Characters, scenes and stories emerge in the moment, inspired by audience suggestions and the players' imagination. No script, no rehearsed punchlines: just fast thinking and fearless collaboration.
While the format borrows the excitement of a sporting event, the real game is built on the principles of improvisation: saying yes, building on each other's ideas and creating something together. Expect live commentary, the Rotterdam colours, playful rivalry, halftime entertainment and plenty of surprises along the way.
Whether you're an improvisation fan or simply looking for a fun night out, come cheer, laugh and help decide which city takes home the trophy.
