A Night w/ ELELE

ELELE brings the sounds of Turkey to the Strandtent for a sun-soaked evening of nostalgic classics, contemporary grooves and seaside dancing. Join us on Friday night at OASE as the beach transforms into a warm Turkish summer night, soundtracked by carefully selected tunes and good company.

What to expect

Think warm melodies, hypnotic rhythms and carefully selected tracks that weave together folk, funk, underground sounds and timeless Turkish gems. From dusty vinyl treasures to forward-thinking club music, this is a night made for dancing, listening, reminiscing and discovering something new. The word elele means hand in hand, and that's exactly the spirit of the evening: togetherness, connection and a shared love of music.

Behind the decks is Taylan Aylan, better known as Young TR. Born and raised in Rotterdam and now based in Istanbul, Taylan has long been a familiar face within Rotterdam’s club scene. He was closely involved with the legendary Triphouse Records and founded the cult club concept Acid Hamam. Expect a musical journey that effortlessly bridges past and present, Rotterdam and Istanbul, nostalgia and the unexpected.

A Night with... is our weekly Friday night series at OASE. Every week, we hand over the decks to a different DJ collective, selector or musical community. No two editions are the same. One week you might find yourself dancing to Turkish grooves, the next diving into a completely different corner of the musical universe. The common thread? Summer energy, open-minded sounds and the kind of Strandtent atmosphere that makes you want to stay for just one more track.
