A Taste of Vinyl is a brand new recurring listening session at OASE where we treat your ears, fill your belly and warm up your hips. Curated by DJ and host MF Andrade.

What to expect?

Each edition, host MF Andrade invites a guest he admires to share an hour of their favourite vinyl records. Records that hold memories, shaped them, or carry cultural meaning. Together with the audience, we listen, reflect and enter into conversation._‍

Before and during the evening, there’s a nourishing meal available (17:00 - 20:00 | order before 20:00). During the listening session, we share a matching snack inspired by the guest’s background. Afterwards, the night continues on the dance floor, where the guest plays alongside a local artist.

About Erwin Zimmerman (DJ Git Hyper / founder Demonfuzz Records)

Erwin Zimmerman, better known as DJ Git Hyper, is a Rotterdam-based DJ and cultural entrepreneur. He rose to prominence as the DJ of the influential hip-hop collective DuvelDuvel, helping shape the group's raw and playful sound in the late 1990s and 2000s. Beyond his role in the crew, Zimmerman is the founder of Demonfuzz Records, a celebrated Rotterdam record store specializing in vinyl and underground music culture. His dual legacy as a performer and record shop owner reflects his deep roots in both hip-hop and the wider musical landscape of the city.

A Taste of Vinyl is curated and hosted by Michel Andrade (MF Andrade), co-founder and initiator of FAROFFA. As a DJ and cultural connector, Michel creates evenings where different scenes, generations and stories meet.
