After three years, Maria & Pepe is more than just a pop-up restaurant. What began as a love story — the couple recently got married this year in Mexico and soon in the Netherlands — has grown into a cultural foundation that places social interaction at the center.
In addition to food and drinks, there is an extensive program that continues to grow: From shared table dinners where strangers can become friends, to salsa workshops for beginners, storytelling evenings, to ‘movement playground’ classes in the mornings. Most activities are free to attend or based on donations.
